2025-26 College Football Playoffs And Conference Betting Preview

DJ Lagway of the Florida Gators throwing a pass

The 2025-26 NCAA College Football season begins on August 23rd, and online sportsbooks are geared up and ready with a fleet of odds and futures for the champions of the Power 4 conferences and the CFP Title Game.

Can the Ohio State Buckeyes repeat as CFP National Champions? Will the winner come from a program not associated with the Big Ten or the SEC? Today, we have a look at what the odds are suggesting at online college football betting sites and offer our predictions and a few sleepers as well.

2025 Big Ten Conference Championship Odds

  • Ohio State +200
  • Penn State +240
  • Oregon +300
  • Michigan +850
  • USC +2000
  • Iowa +3500
  • Nebraska +3500
  • Illinois +3500
  • Indiana +4000
  • Washington +6000
  • Minnesota +10000
  • Michigan State +12500
  • Wisconsin +15000
  • UCLA +17500
  • Rutgers +20000
  • Maryland +30000
  • Northwestern +30000
  • Purdue +30000

The Buckeyes currently hold the lead in the latest preseason Big Ten odds but are closely trailed by Penn State and Oregon. Michigan is a distant fourth, and the moneyline odds for fifth and beyond are separated by over a thousand.

Much like last season, selecting a winner with so many powerhouses involved is difficult, but we do like Michigan as a sleeper to win the Conference.

2025 SEC Conference Championship Odds

  • Texas +275
  • Georgia +300
  • Alabama +400
  • LSU +700
  • Mississippi +2000
  • Texas A&M +1600
  • Florida +1800
  • Tennessee +2800
  • Oklahoma +2200
  • Auburn +2800
  • South Carolina +3000
  • Missouri +6000
  • Arkansas +15000
  • Kentucky +30000
  • Vanderbilt +30000
  • Mississippi State +30000

Just like the Big Ten, the SEC appears to be a three-dog race in 2025-26. The Texas Longhorns hold the best chances of winning the SEC, with Georgia and Alabama right behind them. The LSU Tigers seem to represent the final team with any prayer of hoisting the SEC Championship Trophy this December.

We do like the Florida Gators as a sleeper at +1800 now that QB DJ Lagway is expected to be ready for the season opener.

2025 ACC Conference Championship Odds

  • Clemson EVEN
  • Miami Florida +380
  • Louisville +850
  • SMU +900
  • Georgia Tech +1400
  • Duke +2500
  • Florida State +2600
  • North Carolina +4500
  • NC State +4500
  • Pittsburgh +4500
  • Virginia Tech +4000
  • Syracuse +6000
  • Boston College +8000
  • Virginia +8000
  • California +10000
  • Wake Forest +30000
  • Stanford +30000

The Clemson Tigers are 280 points ahead of the Miami Hurricanes in the preseason ACC futures. We believe either Clemson or Miami will get it done, but like the SMU Mustangs as a sleeper at +900.

2025 Big 12 Conference Championship Odds

  • Kansas State +550
  • Utah +550
  • Arizona State +600
  • Baylor +700
  • Texas Tech +550
  • TCU +850
  • Iowa State +1200
  • Kansas +1400
  • BYU +2200
  • Cincinnati +2800
  • Colorado +2800
  • Houston +3000
  • Arizona +3500
  • Oklahoma State +5000
  • UCF +5500

There is a six-team logjam at the top of the Big 12 odds to win, with Kansas State, Itah, and Texas Tech sharing the lead at +550. Due to the dominance of the Big Ten and SEC, there’s a chance that only one Big 12 team will make it to the CFP.

2025-2026 NCAAF Championship Odds

  • Ohio State +500
  • Texas +500
  • Georgia +650
  • Penn State +750
  • Oregon +1000
  • Alabama +1000
  • Clemson +1000
  • Notre Dame +1200
  • LSU +1600
  • Michigan +2500
  • Florida +3000
  • Miami FL +3500
  • Texas A&M +3500
  • Ole Miss +4000
  • South Carolina +5000
  • Oklahoma +5000
  • Tennessee +5000
  • USC +8000
  • Auburn +6000

The top six positions in the CFP futures offered at BetUS are members of the SEC and the Big Ten. We’re locking in the Alabama Crimson Tide at 10-to-1 as our sleeper pick of the preseason.
