Can I Legally Bet On The World Cup at 18?

Eighteen and up players can legally bet on the World Cup at international and domestic sportsbooks. However, most state-regulated sportsbooks require bettors to be 21 and up in order to participate. Visit the section of our guide that explains the nuances of states that allow 18+ sports betting for more information.

International sportsbooks continue to be the best options for 18+ bettors. Only two states, Washington state explicitly outlaws online gambling, but international sportsbooks still accept players from there. We recommend complying with all local laws, but since the repeal of PASPA, no federal laws criminalize players from betting with international sportsbooks.
