Will The Dallas Cowboys Soon Be In The Market for a New Coach?

Cowboys Coach

America’s team has officially fallen from grace and is now battling for a playoff spot after a great start to the 2019-20 NFL season.

The Dallas Cowboys started the season 3-0 before going on a three-game losing streak. It doesn’t help that the first three games were against some of the worst teams in the league (Giants, Redskins, Dolphins), and the following three were a couple of the best teams (Saints, Packers) in the league. After losing to the Saints and Packers, the Cowboys lost a close game to the Jets in East Rutherford.

After the setback delivered by the Jets, the Cowboys looked like they were getting on track, putting up 37 points against the Eagles and the Giants to gain two more regular-season victories. The three games following the Giants win seemed to affirm what fans were speculating; the Cowboys can’t win big games.

In the last few games, the Cowboys have played they lost to the Vikings, won over the Lions, and most recently lost to the Patriots. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones recently told reporters that head coach Jason Garett is not getting the most out of the talent he has put on the field.
When asked about contract extensions for star players Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper, Jones said, “Let me just say this: I think all of us, including the fans, want to win a damn football game. OK?” He went on to insinuate that he may be evaluating the coaching staff in the near future.

The good news is the Cowboys have got through the bulk of their schedule and still lead the NFC East by one game. Their last few games are against other struggling teams except for the Bills. If the Cowboys go on a run here at the end of the season, they would easily make the playoffs.

Regardless of how things end up for the Cowboys, oddsmakers are giving fans who like to bet on the NFL future betting options for the Dallas Cowboys, next coach. Below you will see who could possibly fill the position if Jason Garrett was to be relieved of his duties.
